"Bronze Horseman" is the most famous monument to tsar Peter the Great in St. Petersburg and in all over Russia. But popularity of nowadays seems to give way to the period when it appeared. Soon after "Bronze Horseman" had been inaugurated, many jewelers sent theirs apprentices to chop off tiny stones from the granite base. Jewelers set these stones in gold. Such rings grew very fashionable in Europe. Monument destruction was stopped only by placing fence around it and police post next to it.

Guarantee		 You pay in the end of the tour. You can always apply for recommendations to the institutions listed in the "Recommendations" page. You deal with me without any agents and that's me who is totaly responsible for your tour. You should pay your tour in advance. If the car or the guide are not nice it is almost impossible to get money back. Recommendations are almost unknown in Russian tour agencies.
